Jamal Mohamed College, was founded in 1951, an autonomous institution, affiliated to the Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
The college is administered by the Society of Jamal Mohamed College, is established in a sprawling land area of 87 acres, as a religious minority institution, with the primary objective of providing higher education to the downtrodden and socially backward sections of the society in general and Muslim minority in particular. The college is Re-accredited (3rd Cycle) with 'A' grade by NAAC. The college has been identified as the "College with Potential for Excellence" by the UGC.
Arunai International Research Foundation was founded in February 25th , 2016 - Licensed under Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It is constituted to spread and emphasise the cause of multidisciplinary research subjects in international scenario.
