Selection Process

Selection Process

1. Each year, we select few districts in Tamil Nadu and send letters to the Heads of all Government schools in those districts requesting them to nominate two of their best students who are determined to pursue their higher education.

2. Currently, we are supporting students from Government schools in economically backward districts that have a large number of people dependent on unreliable incomes.

3. Applications received from the various schools will be further scrutinized to shortlist students.

4. Members of the Arunai International Research Foundation selection committee visit the localities of each of the shortlisted students to ascertain their family background before reporting back to the selection committee. After thoroughly checking their credentials, selected students are offered scholarships.
